The second round of applications for Future Studies
The second round of applications for Future Studies is now open! If you are a student at a university in Serbia, aged up to 27, and eager to develop personally and professionally, apply and become part of the new program generation.
The application deadline is Septebmer 8th at 23:59h.
In addition to acquiring diverse knowledge, Future Studies aims to provide participants with many practical skills essential for both professional and personal development.
The Future Studies program includes:
- Knowledge lectures
- Skills workshops
- Mentoring program
- Psychological support
The program is designed for individuals who will be up to 27 years old in October 2024 and are students in their third or final year, graduates, or master's students at a university in Serbia.
The selection of students for Future Studies takes place in three phases:
- Candidate application
- Testing
- Interview and final selection
The program runs from October 2024 to May 2025.
Knowledge lectures are designed to provide students with a wide range of knowledge in various fields, focusing on current and significant topics, covered in two modules – Knowledge for the Future and New World. These modules offer insights into global conflicts and crises, political influence, banking and finance, climate change, social issues, psychological phenomena, new technologies, and many other topics.
Skills workshops offer opportunities to acquire skills necessary for professional and personal development. Through workshops in the Future Skills and Career Management and Internship units, participants gain valuable skills such as public speaking, presentation skills, preparing for job interviews, and directing their professional development. The Belgrade Open School also assists in finding internships for all students who desire it.
The mentoring program provides an opportunity to collaborate with prominent individuals from various fields who have built highly successful careers. Depending on your goals and preferences, you will be matched with a mentor who can assist in your professional and personal development.
Psychological support is provided through workshops where you can learn more about yourself, establishing relationships, identifying positive and negative emotions, and understanding self-image.
The Future Studies program also includes a series of extracurricular activities where students have the opportunity to get to know each other better, find common interests, and learn from one another. Each generation of participants attends theatre and cinema visits, as well as outings and gatherings. The Winter School of Teamwork holds particular significance, involving a collective journey outside Belgrade and featuring a series of engaging teamwork workshops.
