Participants of the 31st generation of the Future Study at the Winter School of Teamwork
Students of the Future Studies, educational program of the Belgrade Open School, had the opportunity to participate in the Winter School of Teamwork in Gučevo from March 1st to March 3rd, which has been organized for years as part of the Program.
The aim of the Winter School is to enable students to become familiar with the basic principles of teamwork through various workshops and simulations. These activities provide participants with the development of their skills, but also contribute to the creation and strengthening of team spirit.
The lecture of the executive director of the Belgrade Open School, Milorad Bjeletić, introduced the students to this topic by dealing with team and functional roles. The importance that each member has for their team was highlighted, and the test at the end of the lecture helped students gain insights into which role in the team is closest to them, based on their personality type.
Vladimir Pavićević, the academic adviser of the Program, held a workshop entitled Development of a successful team, during which the students learned what leadership qualities are needed in order for the team to function in the best way. Through games and competitions, the participants had the opportunity to apply what they had learned, considering that they reached the desired goal through cooperation as a team.
The general director of the Belgrade Open School, Vesna Đukić, prepared and held a simulation of negotiation and decision-making in a team. The participants faced a sensitive topic and a problem that needed to be resolved by consensus, despite the different attitudes and roles assigned to them. Students gained insight into how to conduct negotiations, which will lead to an optimal solution.
In addition to workshops and simulations that theoretically and practically improved the students' knowledge of teamwork, the team spirit was strengthened by various free activities through which the students became closer and got to know each other better. Walks to Banja Koviljača and Crni vrh, party games, karaoke, as well as a pub quiz encouraged students to socialize and collaborate.
Several days of socializing, as well as an interesting program connected the students and formed a great team, which will surely achieve significant results.
