Belgrade Open School is the leading organization on the project EU National Resource Center for Civil Society organizations in Serbia, which it implements together with the organizations: Novi Sad School of Journalism, ENECA Nis, Uzice Child Rights Center, New Planning Practice, Safe Trails, Young Farmers of Serbia and the international partner Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
Overall objective is to reinforce EU integration process in Serbia based on simulative and enabling environment for CSOs and active participation on non-state actors in decision making processes.
Specific objective is to empower civil society, grassroots, and informal groups for supporting reforms and Serbia’s EU accession process, grassroots and informal groups for supporting reforms and Serbia’s EU accession process.
Main activities:
- E- platform for support, learning and informing,
- Tailor-made trainings coupled with mentoring and monitoring of CSOs improvement (including FSTPs),
- Enabling Environment Accelerator: Analysis of CSOs funding legislation, policies and practices and advocacy for improvement of policy and legislative environment,
- Financial support to CSOs and informal groups.
Expected outputs:
- At least 67 trainings will be held,
- At least 800 civil society representatives will be involved in project,
- At least 300 civil society organizations and 280 informal groups will participate in the capacity building program,
- At least 200 civil society organizations and 220 informal groups will be supported through the program financial support.
The project duration is from 1st of January 2023 until 31st of December 2026.
The project is financed by the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia.
