Belgrade Open School is announcing a call for donations for immediate support of reform processes within the framework of Serbia's accession to the European Union, which is intended for civil society organizations. The invitation is part of the project "EU Resource Center for Civil Society in Serbia" aimed at strengthening the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union through the creation of an encouraging environment for civil society and the active participation of actors outside the public administration system in decision-making processes.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Support is intended for civil society organizations (CSOs) that are registered as associations, foundations or endowments, in accordance with the current Law on Associations or the Law on Endowments and Foundations. CSOs can propose projects independently (as a project owner) or in partnership (either as a project owner or as a project partner).
WHAT DOES IMMEDIATE SUPPORT FOR REFORM PROCESSES IMPLY?
CSOs can receive support for the implementation of activities aimed at contributing to the solution of challenges or problems that arose six months before the submission of the project proposal and that may hinder the reform process (e.g. deterioration of the strategic/legislative framework, negative changes in the practices of institutions, changes in the context community).
CSOs can submit project proposals within the following thematic areas:
- Support for democratic development;
- Improvement, protection and promotion of human rights;
- Development of the local community;
- Protection and improvement of the environment and climate change;
- Improving employability;
- Public policies aimed at young people;
- Social inclusion of vulnerable groups;
- Other areas of importance for the community, in which the goals and expected results of this Program are realized.
WHAT DOES IMMEDIATE SUPPORT DONATION PROGRAM INCLUDE?
Civil society organizations can apply for financial support in the maximum project value of up to RSD 580,000.00. The project can last at least three and at most six months.
It is planned that the Call for Grants for immediate support of reform processes within the process of Serbia's accession to the European Union will be permanently open and during 2023 up to six (6) CSO projects will be supported.
In addition to financial support, organizations will have the necessary mentoring and expert support for project implementation.
