The EU Resource Center for Civil Society in Serbia presented its activities at the "EU Opportunity Week", organized from June 21 to 26 in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš.
Project manager Bojana Džulović pointed out that the mission of the EU Resource Center is to support the active contribution of civil society organizations to the reform and the European Union integration process. Civil society organizations and informal groups can count on expert and practical help in development through strengthening of internal capacities, networking and financial support.
"We invite all civil society organizations in Serbia to register on the EU Resource Center official website and become part of our comprehensive base of civil society organizations that support the European integration of Serbia. This is also an opportunity to announce that calls for two new grants will be open soon – for immediate support (Rapid Response Grant) and for the initiation of new ideas and the development of organizations (Seed Money Grant). It is important to point out that these calls will be open throughout the year."
Bojana Džulović also spoke on the EU podcast "Za tebe (For You)" on the topic "Civil Society and the EU", which you can watch at this LINK.
The Belgrade Open School and the EU Resource Center for Civil Society in Serbia participated also in a parallel session – an online stand – which was the right place for all those interested to learn more about available funds, as well as other current projects and activities.
"EU Opportunity Week" is a unique five-day event with more than 120 interactive sessions that provided the citizens of Serbia the opportunity to explore concrete opportunities in one place in various fields such as business, education, youth, sports, culture, civil society, media, local development, agriculture, etc.
