The partners from *Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia meeting was held in Skopje on December 15th as part of the "Green Generation – Schools engaged for climate action" project. This meeting was organized to exchange experiences and assess the progress made in the project's implementation. It was an excellent opportunity for partners to come together and discuss the project's achievements and challenges.
The meeting was structured in two parts. The first part was devoted to the presentation of the implemented activities of each of the partners. The project coordinator of BOS, Nemanja Petrović, presented the status of activities in Serbia and shared the first feedback from the workshops for students held in two schools in Valjevo. The second part of the meeting focused on the analysis of data from the report on the attitudes of teachers, parents, and students collected by the research consortium consisting of Kantar, Reactor, and Secons, whose data will be the starting point for further work with students, teachers, and parents.
During the meeting, concrete agreements were reached on the steps that each of the partners would take to achieve the agreed goals. Through the workshop format, the participants of the meeting designed strategies for a more efficient organization of workshops for teaching staff, students, parents, and representatives of local governments in the places where the project is implemented, as well as ways of evaluating the achieved results and indicators.
Finally, the results achieved this year were summarized, and lessons learned from previous initiatives were discussed. All participants expressed satisfaction with what was achieved and optimism regarding the planned activities. It is expected that this cooperation will contribute to the strengthening of partnerships in communities between schools and local self-government units.
